Mike was originally from Bethlehem PA but moved to CA in the early 90’s to live at the POW house and was way ahead of his time with bar spin variations, crank flips, and all sorts of burly tech moves on dirt, mini ramps and street. He had really good parts in 44 Something and BMX Inferno that influenced a whole  new generation to ride differently. Griffin could skate good too and prided himself on having bad tattoos! He left the team in 1998 to ride for Metal Bikes.

After nearly a year in development, Hucker’s first ever signature frame is finally out! Available in Copper and Trans Matte Black in 20.5″, 20.75″, 21″ and 21.25″ top-tube sizes. Among other equally tubular things, the graphics feature a surfing burrito and a rattlesnake doing a tabletop.

TransWorld Business is making an effort to pull back the curtains and shine a little light on the corner office so that you can hear first hand from the CEOs and masterminds what really goes into making sure that your favorite brands and products continue to thrive. Mike Hoder’s signature frame came into the world in Sept. 2012 – nine months after he joined the team.  As far as what BTM stands for? Who knows, ask Hoder.

BTM Frame

Hoder’s signature handlebar ushered in the “bigger bar” trend and in hindsight, was really the original XL bar BMX offered. Mike wanted his bars taller, so he didn’t have to hunch over, and wider for stability and comfort. The geometry is similar to our ever-popular Slam Bar, so it automatically feels familiar. The Hoder Bar is made in the USA from post-weld heat-treated and butted 4130.

Rise: 8.625′
Width: 30′
Upsweep: 1.5°
Back Sweep: 11°
Cross Bar: .75′
Weight: 2.13 Lb (.97 Kg)
Material: 4130 Crmo
