Dagger Swagger

S&M is a rider-run enterprise, and we ride it all… rails, trails, flatland and park. Problem was, we didn’t really have a low-slung park frame in our arsenal for dudes like our Q.C. craftsman Tyler Halvorsen. Tyler is a great park rider, so when we took a stab at designing the Dagger, we solicited his input to dial ‘er in. Read all about it over on Ride’s Know Your Roll feature on the frame… The first run is available in Chrome, Gloss Black and glow-in-the-dark Sublime.

Dagger Time

The boys are in the back tackin’ up the DAGGER today, our ultra-responsive park frame that drops in two weeks time. It’s got a low BB and standover, a steep head angle, a short rear end and threaded chain tensioners… ie. it’s a killer frame for slayin’ the park. We’re gonna send a super limited run of them, along with the 26mm WIDEMOUTH forks to powdercoat for glow-in-the-dark Sublime lime, so if you wanna take a stab at nabbin’ one of those kits, you’d better tell your local shop to pre-order one for you stat!

Stealthy

Are you particular about running a Pivotal but craving a cleaner-looking saddle to settle into? Allow us introduce our new Stealth Pivotal seat… a smooth, simple, Sharpie Shield-adorned number ergonomically-designed to delight your derriere while seated, that won’t get in your way while you’re standing on the pedals. Run it with our 320mm Long Johnson Stealth Pivotal post or any Stealth Pivotal or traditional Pivotal post (with socket extension).  Wanna know more about this 9.3 oz beaut? Read all about it over on Ride‘s “Know Your Roll” column.

Deah Clint!

Clint Reynolds collected some hardware for the “Boys in the Woods” when he took home Nora Cup No. 1 Dirt Rider last night, even though the lights went off for a bit, they used a tactical flashlight to work it out. Stoked for him and also for Hucker who was nominated too and had that cup on lock the three years prior. Team Shield’s dirt game is strong! Proud of you boys!

Hucker’s X Games Silver

Somehow, some 30 years in… an S&M rider had never actually won an X Games medal. Mike “Hucker” Clark changed all that when he nabbed the Silver in BMX Dirt in Austin in June 2015… shit, up until the last second, it even looked like it was gonna be a Gold. Regardless, we’re proud as punch of our main man Mike. Good stuff dude!

Darryl Nau Joins the Party!

Two hands coming together make a wonderful sound, so lets give it up for the newest member of the Shield Squad, Darryl Nau. Enterprising Emcee, International Playboy, and All-Around Good Human… who wouldn’t want a dude like that repping your wares. Shield-adorned fanny packs and Hammer pants coming soon? Welcome to the team Darryl!

Hoder on TCU TV

If you’ve got an hour-plus to spare, this is a good watch. Leave it to Hoder to spend $500 at an open bar.
