Two of The Shield’s finest, Mike Hoder and Charlie Crumlish, will be in the house this weekend for our NIGHTMARE ON LYON ST Jam. We’ll have a 10′ quarter, a box jump, Slidepipes and hotdogs to session starting at 4pm and fellow #BUILDINGBOYZ (Fit’s Tommy Dugan, Brandon Begin, Ethan Corriere, Morgan Long and Justin Spriet) will be debuting their recent project FIT HORROR PICTURE at 7:30. Wear a costume and bring your bike!

Linwood “Bosshog” Monk, who recently relocated to Long Beach from the Beast Coast, started showing up at The Building with his boy (shredder and our new customer service man) Mike Stahl several weeks ago. After he arrived at Interbike with a wild tale about getting his steed stolen while he was sleeping on it in a homie’s hallway, getting the Bosshog rolling again with a Trans Blue BTM build we’d built for the booth seemed like the most logical course of action. Looks like he’s puttin’ it to good use!

The one and only Clint Reynolds is up for Dirt Jumper of the Year at tonight’s Nora Cup Awards. Will the reigning dude of Deah repeat? Will he haul the hardware back to The Building for fifth year in a row (Hucker took home the title in 2012, 2013 and 2014? We’ll know later tonight, but one thing’s for sure, both those boys will be having a blast on their bikes regardless … which is probably why they’ve earned the recognition they have. They’re doing it right.

We’re building up the FIT BF22 for Interbike today, and since we spec’d that bad boy with some aftermarket S&M goodies, including the not-yet-released 22″ SPEEDBALL tires (out in October) we figured we share a lil’ sneak peek. Also noteworthy, the LONG JOHNSON STEALTH PIVOTAL and STEALTH PIVOTAL SEAT on this shred sled come with a quick-release clamp allowing you to adjust your seat height on the fly for bar crawls and trail sessions accordingly.

A few honorary Long Beach Boys bring the Good Vibrations with this one! Team Canada (Bonesaw and Schubert) came down to soak up some SoCal summer at the Ambrose’s new Long Beach digs for a week last month, and between them, Hobie Doan (who also happened to be in town) and Keith Hartwell cruising up the coast, a little impromtu Shield Shred-Fest ensued. Schubert edited it up a treat too, so dig in!
