About Your Bike
This bike was a difficult project, because finding "made in USA" parts in Mexico it's not to easy, but I'm so proud of the result! I hope you at S&M also think the same.

Thanks for make great bikes!!

About Your Bike
I bought this Dirtbike as a complete early in 1998. Both the frame and the fork were originally painted red, but I've had them powder coated. The frame, fork, stem, bars, seat and sprocket are original. I've tried to keep it as close to what it was and what was available.

About Your Bike
One "HARDCORE" S&M. I call it "Johnny" I have been telling my buddy for a few years now that when I figured out what I wanted, I was going to do a mid-school build. But I wasn't sure what direction to go as it's a bit out of my era. Then last year at our Old School BMX Ride my wife showed up with Tracy Rice (owner and the manufacture of Hardcore Machine Works BITD) and gave me a NOS 1-1/8" Hardcore mid-school brick stem for my birthday. I was floored (she earned a lot of "cool points" that day, lol). I also had a set of NOS Hardcore axle nuts and NOS Hardcore seat guts I had picked up. A short time after that my local buddy Mike (Da Missle) hooked me up with a Hardcore seat clamp on a trade deal of sorts (thanks bro) as well as hooked it up on some PMC Hubs. Now I had enough parts to seriously consider a build. After chatting with Tracy about what he used to ride BITD, he mentioned a Holmes he had so I thought that might be a fitting platform to "hang" all these parts on - plus the long TT was appealing for a tall guy like myself. The hunt was on and after about 6 months, this is what I ended up with. I kinda fell in love with this beast while I was building it. It comes in at just under 30 lbs. and is a total mid school BEAST. It looked naked without the pads, so they HAD to go on. It rides crazy smooth and is ready for a bit of trail action. Hope my mid school homies can enjoy it. Frame: 1996 S&M Holmes (OG Decals) Fork: S&M Pitchfork with Devil decal (Not sure if that decal was OG or applied later) Bars: S&M Slam running man (OG Decal) Stem: NOS Hardcore Machine Works Lever: Dia Compe Tech 77 locking trigger Brake: Dia Compe 990 (stamped 1996) Grips: Jive Grips w/donuts Pads: S&M Repops (at some point, i am going to find an OG set) Headset: Chris King Cranks: Profile Sprocket: Profile Chain: KMC Pedals: Primo (looking for an OG 4 hole set with the lower profile though 🙂 ) Seat: S&M Shield Slim Race "Made In U.S.A." Seat Post: GT Coin Stamp Seat Clamp: Hardcore Machine Works Seat Guts: NOS Hardcore Machine Works Hubs: PMC sealed Axle Nuts: NOS Hardcore Machine Works Hoops: SUNN BFR Chrome (1x NOS and 1X used but in outstanding shape) Tires: Primo Dirt Monsters (new)

About Your Bike
Not the parts I'd like on such a bad ass frame. Deserves only the best being associated with and American made product. Fuck it tho, still a bad ass bike. This bike get bitches and I don't even have to be on it. At the trails It creates its own lines and sniffs out all the bitches at the parks. You fuck with this bike and it will ghost ride itself into your face leaving you with s&m stars. Enough said.
